Opus I Digital Color Camera
A high-resolution digital color camera
for miscroscopy and other scientific applications
that require exceptional sharp color and spatial sampling.
The Opus I exclusively uses the new Foveon X3® Pro
10M Direct Image Sensor CMOS chip. This breakthrough
in three layer sensor technology provides significantly better
performance over single chip color cameras.
Virtually eliminates spatial sampling
artifacts (i.e. Moiré patterns) found in mosaic filtered
sensors.

Opus I offers features never able to be
offered in a single sensor camera. The result is
high-resolution, large format, photo-publish quality, and
brilliant color imagery at an attractive price. The
following images were taken using an Olympus BX41, 1X
coupler, 20X planachromat objective.
